    Inception Designs Secret Pin Worthwhile?

So I finally did it. I made the mistake of modifying my bone stock, ex-rental EMEK by installing an Exalt Killswitch trigger and a lighter trigger spring. I went a little over two whole months before modding anything (not counting a barrel swap). Now that the door is open, I'm looking at getting the FL 3-way. And I'm wondering if the Secret Pin is worth tacking on another $15. Anyone have experience using the FL 3-way with and without the Secret Pin? Is there an appreciable difference?

I do not doubt Simon's engineering ability or his integrity. But the history of paintball is littered with designs which should have made a difference on paper but appeared to have no practical consequence in the field.

The Secret Pin by itself is on backorder, but it appears to still be available as a preinstalled option when ordering an FL 3-way from ID. So getting just the 3-way now and the pin later is impractical, especially given that the pin alone doesn't meet the free shipping minimum.

    So what says MCB?

In my opinion it is well worth the $15. I'd say it increases the users ability to sustain higher rates of fire by allowing a little shorter pull and faster reset time. If you don't plan on needing to shoot really quickly (for a non-assisted mech) than the FL alone is sufficient.
Previously, I had a DW hAir 45 valve and I definitely prefer the FL 3-Way with Secret Pin over the hAir.

It definitely does something, short pull similar trigger weight to the FL3-way.
Personally I prefer the DW hair valve which is a lighter pull. Some people find the hair valve too soft.

I have secret pins and hair valves in stock btw.
Need Inception Designs or Shocktech Products? Let me know!

I moved to the pl valve and tried the secret pin, went back to just the pl valve because it kept making a farting noise with the special pin. I suspect more trigger adjustment would have made it go away.
