Any Experience with the CART 12 Gram Regulator?

    Hey PPS Gurus!

I've always browsed the PPS website over and over since getting rid of my Super Stocker.. and this has been on my mind since seeing it.. The 12 Gram Bucket with Regulator built in.. Does anyone have any experience/recommendations with it? I'm curious mainly because of some of the heat spikes we might be getting and if it's worth it to have a clean and slim 12 gram regulation system in place..

Thanks!! Looking forward to adding PPS back into the collection again soon!

I have had good luck with their Stabilizer regulators. And I am quite interested in the CART for a few builds, just haven't been able to justify buying one in the midst of all the other $#!+ I buy. Lol.

I had the original run. It was tough to adjust beacuse you had to vent the cartridge, then adjust from inside. They were making one with a external adjuster but I never seen one yet. The bucket was mice to grip but CCI bucket threads eaiser on a change.

They work well enough, but the cost to benefit ratio leaves something to be desired in my experience.

I have one, as mentioned above, they are a pain to adjust because you have to remove the cartridge.
That being said, they works amazingly well ... but i would reserve them for specific projects (i have mine on my thumper)

I grabbed one since the description ticked all the boxes and seemed like it would be awesome. Couldn't get mine to work right and ended up returning it. Got off the Palmers bandwagon as I believe their quality has gone downhill over the years.

              Hmmm.. Lol for cost:benefit ratio..

I was honestly thinking about just getting this to set it at 600 PSI, and then tune marker just for that. It's definitely along the lines of a "want" more than a "need"

I would get a stab. Before I get another cart. ...
the only reason I hold on to it is for my thumper. My other pumps go un-regulated or get regular inline regs.

I think, as many of us do, I have a love/hate feeling with PPS, I love their regs and their gun, but the lpr inside the lower tube on the brass guns are a pain ... They shred orings when putting them together ... And you need to take the entire gun apart to get to the dam orings ... but I diverge.

For the cart reg, it serves a purpose, but I wouldn't recommend it as a "good all around" reg.
