    Back in brass

So, I had convinced myself I was done with brass. Not out of a dislike for it, just that I had gone with my Phantom. Then I saw a PGP2K pop up on Kijiji locally last night and twist my rubber arm...I'm back in. I don't have a pic yet and I haven't tried it with a 12 gram either so I could be in for a seal kit. It's missing the speed feed of course and a safety ball bearing and spring. I'll post some pics up when I can after I run some air through it.

For the speed feed, if you dont find one and are not in a hurry, I just bough a 3D printer and had some idea to try (but might take some time to devlop)

Thanks Alex. I saw XEMON's thread in the dealer section. I'm sure you'll keep us posted on any 3D printed options. I'm not in a hurry.

Of course I get this after unloading all of my random Sheridan parts last summer which included a Mad seal kit and new puncture pin.

Dam, didn't thought of gorilla glue when I tried mine ...
After the superglyuper gluelu failed I drilled and tap the bolt for a button head screw.

And yes, 2k are great, but the feed gate tend to crack.
I think I have a 3d printed one I got a while back laying around, pm me if you're interested.

Thanks for the picture! I have plans to do wedgits using JonM's how to. So I'd have to do this to the bolt first.

      Absolutely! Pusher first, wedgits second.

Here's a quick photo of it. Aired up great no leaks, pierced the crappy Crossman 12 gram on the first shot. The front tube cap was loose so the previous owner had some tape on there to hold it. I'll have to work on getting the tape residue off. Other than the obvious the rest of the condition is very good.

I worked a couple of midnight shifts this week and played with Paint 3D. These are by no means to scale but just an idea of what I'd like to do to the PGP 2K with 3D printed parts showing in red. I was thinking the top rail could be a weaver style. The back speed feed and top rail are one piece with the front top tub cap a separate piece that the rail would screw into.

      That looks cool 👍
A new version of the tactical PGP ...

One thing to note: the back piece with the hole on top to be able to slide back and forth, otherwise when you rock your gun back your paint will come out.
Working...
