    Cartridge Valve PGP Tuning/Questions

Because of a possibly errant decision, I picked up 3 more 2k PGPs. Maybe it's because I want to wear them like a pirate but that aside, are there any tips/tricks for increasing performance in the cartridge valves?

I assume Dyna-valve and possibly enlarging the air port, but I never see much talk about springing on PGPs. Is there a decent source? Just Palmer's?

My other question is about the 1 PGP I already have. I've done a few little things, wedgits, small bolt tapped into the front of the bolt to make sure the ball clears the transfer port.

The one thing it seems to always have issues with is the RVA. If I screw it in to the body enough that the hole from the RVA is centered in the hole from the body I can't get the gun to cock. I have to unscrew the RVA from the body nearly to the point I can't start the screw.

I was thinking maybe the spring isn't sick and might be too long. I think the RVA adjuster is about as far back as it can go.

I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

First step is enlarged transfer port, the stem is nice, but I have not seen to much difference. You can enlarge the valve and get the same results.

I spent 6+month sourcing springs, for sheridan.
I have a light valve spring and a lighter hammer spring to match.
The only issue is the hammer spring is not long enough for full length KP, but they are great for shorter bodies and pgp.
lighten the pump stroke and bounce.

Would you be willing or able to share the spring specs or willing to sell some?

Are you needing new springs or old springs to cut and modify?

I was mainly curious to try the springs Xemon found since a lighter pump stroke is always nice. I may just go to a stock equivalent route.

I cut down a Spyder spring for the valve in mine. I just clipped it to a comparable size and put it through the paces.
