    Valve stuck

    i dont know what it is but i unscrewed the valve retaining nut and everything, but the oring that im supposed to take out isnt there, so i assumed it was out and tried to get it out but its not budging. help???

    Take a spent 12gram and insert it in the lower tube. Then take either, your valve tool or a wooden dowel rod or something like that. Anything that will fit down the tube and tap, tap it out the back. Whether using the floor or something else. Shouldn't take more than a couple of good smacks to free it.

      got it out, thanks man! also helps that the oring was taken out upon further inspection out too. so much grime that it was covered in grey and looked like a metal part haha

    That "metal o-ring" is called a lead seal.
    it's a lead ring to hold the valve in place during manufacturing.
    This mean this valve have never been rebuild before ...

    Ho, and it belongs in the trash, it's not needed and get in the way of a rebuild.
