    Sweet, glad you like her...
She looks even better when your holding her....

ok.. spring action lever it will be...
The trigger assembly was already drilled out for a rva, was just missing the set screw adjuster.... I gots.....
it was also kind of hacked up so I fixed that with some metal epoxy....
going to make a trigger guard from a portion of your old barrel, should have that completed tonite...

If I have time today I will powdercoat something so you can check out the titanium black powder.....

Honestly I cant decide for now if I should do the titanium black or leave it polished like this
I think both option would be amazing and give different look

Guys I will need your help once we see the sample

Did not get to the titanium black powder coating today but....

I did make a trigger guard from a piece of your old barrel.... even managed to save the inscription " model" - pmi-....
      Formed to fit....

I also took a picture as I remember a few asking how I did the spring loaded lever...
The center spacer will be drilled for a set screw to secure to outer tube as is the lever.....

Beautiful touch on that guard! Seriously WALZ. Your builds need their own section in the armory.

I love the way that stock came out. That woodgrain is beautiful. I always look forward to your builds.

Have you ever documented in some way all the markers you have built over the years? We lost a lot of the history to the great MCB crash. Theses markers you create are true pieces of functional art. I would love to see some of the builds documented.

Walz did a few how-to's as well as lots of build threads. One of the great losses of the hackening. Someone recovered his freak barrel build how-to around here.

I've been trying to decide of I should restart the Walz build pic thread or tack my pics onto the custom pic thread.

Not that my opinion matters but I vote you leave it raw brass and let it patina. I think a patina against the flame Ti would look great.

Thats my dilema currently, raw brass look really good but dark titanium black would give a great contrast with the flamed titanium color

Making decisions while Wally has your shooter in hand is probably one of the hardest things you can do.

I also vote leave it raw, but Id need to see how the black looks. The powdercoat WALZ put on mine still lets you see the brass. I assume the black will be the same that its semi transparent. In which case you will be happy either way

I vote BLACK! Everything looks better in black.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: β€œI shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

β€œBut Lord,” asked Gabriel, β€œIs this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, β€œJust wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Almost complete... yesterday I installed the spring loaded lever and it works great...snap it open, end retracts, slide in a cartridge and snap it closed... fast and efficient....
i did notch the stock out so cartridge would slide in as opposed to cutting the stock shorter..

i also made a end plug for the feed, used a 12 gauge shotgun shell and it fits perfectly...

I don't like how the lever hits your hand when cocking, it has sharp edges...
you can cock it without touching the lever but I still don't care for it.
i will try to fix that by radiusing the edges of the lever.. maybe even shortening the cocking rod somewhat....

i did powdercoat a marker i whipped up for the black titanium powder but somehow I mixed up the lids on my blacks and it came out black texture..I like it but it's not black titanium...and I just realized that the powder I want to use is black mirror and not the titanium...
it may take me a bit to find said powder as all the different blacks just look black in the jars... I have posted a picture of the black texture marker for you to check out anyway...

Walz, I find the look of her perfect like this! You nailed it for me.
No need to find the powder coat for this built. It would have look awsome also in black but I think I will keep her like this.

For the handle, maybe a small stud at the rear of the handle to change the hand poaition and slightly shorter pump rod?
I fully trust your instinct too if you have any idea

And here is pictures of the black texture..
i made the marker yesterday to show you the correct black but somehow it ended up black texture..
i will try to find the correct color but it will take a bit as I have to use the blacks to find it..
                lids are apparently mixed up...

anyway if someone wants this one, it's a pgp converted to direct feed with widgets that hold paint down to .677 or so... barrel I.D. Is .688 or so. Lmk if this is for you...
