What did I buy, brass edition

Snagged some sweet brass at supergame. I'm still learning all the differences though so wanted to get the hoards thoughts

Both of these appear to be piranha long barrels. I'm hoping to get both going, I have a pump handle for the one missing it and I need to find a right side airline

Now this next one, I'm taking a bit of a chance on.

Obviously a home brew double barrel. The thing that I'm stuck on is the lower tube seems too short and I'm not sure what's going on there

A cart valve would stick out maybe enough to tap for a 1/8th npt fitting.

How is the valve held onto the rest of the body then?

well, that's one way to make a double pgp using all the original brass... i've seen the front of the valve tube chopped when using a side tap for constant air, but that appears to be an open front valve core. were it me, I'd just solder on the front of a donor pgp valve tube chopped to fit :-P

If I'm going to need to buy another donner body, should I just take the lower tube off and get the new one on? Rather then trying to chop and fit pieces together?

Also, anyone run a double barrel off of a 12g cart? Should I go for a cart valve body or something else?

Here's what appears to be cartridge valve style bodies for cheap. I'd snag one and use the lower tube from that. Sticking lower tubes together from pieces isn't that easy. Just start fresh. You could even try to find a 2k to part lower tube that has the quick changer and RVA already built in

yes, you could simply replace the whole bottom tube, but you'll need to seal the original transfer hole & drill 2 new ones (I typically sweat out the valve core and reinstall it rotated to seal the original hole). cartridge valves can power double pgp's, and are fairly simple to modify. I have a few donor pgp bodies if needed, if you decide to ditch the existing valve tube I'd be interested in the valve core
          Working...
