"Smaug" The golden Dragon. Aka Wally Lamas revenge.....

I took some time off yesterday to clean the shop as it was a mess from the brass building frenzy I have been on...

as I was reorganizing I found a box hidden deep within the shadows of the cave...
inside it was Gold... a marker I started building for Manning over three years ago...
Manning... this is yours if you still want her...

i remember having issues with it and setting it aside to ponder the problem...
Then I made my big move and everything was stored at my sons shop until I completed the shangra-lama build..

When I opened the box up I found this wrapped up inside... I had previously polished her up before storing and the brass has turned this beautiful golden color... pictures do not do it justice, believe me...
As I was checking her out I realized I had the trigger system all wrong.. it was a easy fix and now she's pretty much complete except for a Pringle screw to mount the lock in the stock...

if you have said Pringle screw I need one and will purchase at a premium thank you very much...

Here are some pictures of "Smaug" AKA Wally Lamas Revenge.....

I think I know what they are for, but I've never seen an original one. What threads are they? I remember that being discussed before the hackening.

If Manning doesn't claim this by the summer, I'll be knocking on Wally's door with some shop funding in hand.

I can shape a stock with files in about four hours...

A kindly gentleman pinged me to say this was ready. Since the site shutdown I have only been on the facebook page (I think I sent you a friend request you Llama-ness). I'm back now and would be honored to wield this on the field of battle!

            PM'ing you for the details.

So, again, admiring builds... you dont really detail what ya did on this, but from what I gather, this has dual pin locked removable barrels? They freak freaked too? Are those cocker detents on the barrels?
is that an air through stpck too?!?

Brass buttplate is a nice touch, and the speckled grain is divine. Can I ask what kind of wood it is? Id guess walnut, but Im not a pro at all.
