I just picked up this PGP off eBay for $60 I don't have it in person but I did notice this hole in the side of the lower tube, any clue what its for?

That's what the seller said in the description, I've just never seen that on a PGP before

Could simply be a vent hole for the fake out 12g change. People like to rush when they hear a pssht.

edit: nvm see now you asked the seller.

It also helps vent the 12g when changing them.
