    WALZ Pistol Repair

    Hello Y'all,

I finally got to my little WALZ pistol the other day 🥳

Issue: the bolt was skipping past the hammer every couple strokes.
    Root cause: failed solder joint.
The plan: repair the joint, then reassess the connector pin length. If it’s short, we make a better one.

Naturally, I forgot my valve tool.
So… side quest #1: make a valve tool.

    Then, silver soldder.
Once everything is cleaned and fluxed, I cut a few small bits of silver solder and place them along the failed joint.

Once reassembled and tested, of course the pin is too short.
After a few minutes on the lath, we have a new, longer pin.

After a final re-assembly, we have a fully functional and ready for the field “Little WALZ Shooter”
And we got a bonus Sheridan valve tool too.

Hey X. I dont recall you offering that longer variety of pump handle when you sold that batch. Is that something you will offer at a later date? I have the one I bought on my viper, but a longer one would be better.

This is 1.5 x PGP length, I've only made the one.
I might be convinced to make a few 😅

PS: I have a few PGP length ones left if anyone is interested
    Working...
