Detent Mods

the s6 detents are very nice HOWEVER
i contoured mine to fit the shape of the tube and in doing so, compromised the 'hidden screw' feature, so ive got my mounting screw passing through from the outside. not a big deal, but somthing to note.
aluminum, raw and annoed s6 detents are fairly easy to come by if you can settle for a non- brass option.
pgps have a few black parts so i dont think a black cover would look out of place

I found the raw ccm covers and looked at how to "brass plate". I think this is the way for me. Much cleaner than the wire idea. I appreciate all the input and info. Will post up my little project once completed. Thanks again.

be careful heating the aluminum
that method works good with steel but aluminum is a different beast

What I am working with. Pretty clean specimen. Going to leave black since there isn't much corrosion and add brass screws and parts. More to come as I work it out. Thanks everyone for the input.
