    Ion hose spec

Who knows the spec on ion hoses?
    e.g., material, durometer.

I am trying orders from McMaster.com and haven’t found the right tubing yet.

The image in that thread shows the hose sizes (4mm and 1/8"). I think I used these same sizes when ordering hose in bulk and they work fine.

But the material/construction makes a difference.

It doesn't, I've used pretty much anything that's the rough size and never had any issues.

My experience is in-line with trbo's. If you look for hoses that are 1) pressure-rated, 2) meant for use with barb fittings or push-to-connect fittings, and 3) flexible and not rigid, it should work.

I have. A roll of freelin wade tubing. I've found its spec before.

                Lemme look.

I have freelin wade 1c-156-10 which is 95A durometer 5/32 or 4mm PU line.

It's flexible enough to work yet it's over 200 psi rateing at 75f. Good chit.

Reading my blue hose's rating as 11.3 bar at 20degC and seeing it is firm urethane, the closest on mcmaster would be this product: Ion hose spec

                    https://www.mcmaster.com/6067N245/

Which is a lil whack since that is only a 165psi spec but hey they overengineer these things

For this and future Ion questions, ZDSPB is still the first place to check for info. Still up after all these years.
