    Testing a Parker solenoid

When hooked to a lower board should a Parker noid click or does it have to also have an eye connected?

Is this for a Shocker? IIRC, not having an eye connected causes the board to behave as if the eye were blocked. So the noid should click.

It was originally in a Nerve but I would think it would work the same. I don’t have an eye handy to test it with. I’ll assume it’s dead but keep it around for now.

The nerve and sft/nxt share the same solenoids.

It turns on but the LED is dim. I can't seem to disable the eye or make the noid click. The board I had attached has force shot enabled but I got nothing,

I tried a couple of batteries. There is no visible damage to the upper board. I do have some other boards to try and will do that.
