Got a Rescue Mag, with a couple of equally sad Thundercats for good measure:

As bad as that Mag looks, before i took the hoses and valve out, I aired it up first, just to see....and after an initial burst of air from God knows where, it pressurized and shot. Then I took it apart, amazed that it cycled in that condition.

Already ordered a new body, but thanks for the offer, Superman.
I'm struggling removing the grip frame bolt though.

Spray some PB Blaster all around it, in the screw hole in the breech, crevice between the body and rail, etc, and let it sit for a few hours. It's probably just rusted.

Received this PsychoBalistics Lightning Sniper from Alexndl a few days ago and swapped on a few parts before I took pics. Oops. Can't wait to field it with it's big brother 2k RF which I rescued from SGW and got running again with a little help of some parts from Cunha. This community is awesome, although tends to feed the addiction lol.

In retrospect, it's kinda weird that it took so long to develope tooless loaders. There's no reason the Revy couldn't have been molded with clips, or even a thumb screw system.

Got a stock Emek from Tinman74 in trade for the 05 Ego. Already have an Emach trigger in the mail for it. Still looking for a pops and barrel but I'll use some of my extra parts for this one to build it up. I also think I might paint this body and make it stand out a little. In addition, I bought a fully upgraded one that should ship out today. One for my oldest son (in FL) and one for my future son in law to use. I really love these the Emeks!

I'm really curious to see the function of the back piece, I can't tell if it's to control chamber volume or change spring pressure.

Always wanted one of these, and here it is.
Surprisingly nice condition, and when i first aired it up, no leaks, but the bolt wasn't cycling. so of course i took it apart, cleaned out the old paint inside, and washed and lubed the bolt, and put it all back, and now it leaks. I must have broken the seal on that pesky gasket.
Does anyone know more about these? Is there another reason to leak besides that gasket?
Perhaps I need to take the reg apart.

Ok, took it apart again, took the on/off? out and lubed the oring, put it back together and it freaking sealed and cycled, no leaks

Those things are old enough that if someone hasn't already recently rebuilt it, several of the old O-rings are probably rotting. I would very much recommend servicing the reg- at the very least inspect and lube, and if the O-rings are heading south, swap 'em. I have reg seals and the rectangular gasket for the trigger valve, if you need 'em.

So far it's held air and cycled. But that trigger.....starts in one time zone and ends in another.
            Neat marker though.

Cyberpyr8 Thanks! I really liked that one you had as well. I just placed an order with The O-ring Store for urethane o-rings for the shut-off and back of the ram. That always makes these a bit more reliable.

Using a u-cup seal in the shutoff is the real secret sauce for reliability on these things. You install it so the u opening is facing the front of the gun. It takes away pretty much all first shot drop and other drop off problems and they last a super long time. Urethane is still a great option for the shredding tail orings (which will still shred, just more slowly!). The u cup rings can be had from the oring store as well:

I think it's easy to fix, too, but the store chose to send me a whole new frame assembly, so not complaining. The little plastic housing of the switch itself broke. I don't even need it, I have the stock frame w/ guts + the silver replacement frame w/ guts + initial silver frame w/ mostly intact guts.
