Been working on cars lately.

Bought a new old stock passenger side rocker panel. For my 1963 Galaxie

It arrived today. Now to cut the old rusty one out and weld this in.

Yes it is very cool. Last Sunday my mother brought up a rocker my father had bought for the car years ago. Theres still alot of parts down at her house. Unfortunately it was a repro and not a good one. Then this popped up monday. And I was able to get it considerably cheaper then a good reproduction one while the other guys in the Facebook group argued over if it was for a 2 door or 4 door. Yea it's for a 2 door which I knew instantly when I saw it.

I will use Unraid. I have a few VMs in an ESXi host I want to move over. I considered TrueNAS, but that works best when paired with ECC RAM, which would unnecessarily increase the price of the hardware and make it slightly less user-friendly. This will be physically larger than a Synology for sure, but there’s room in the garage and it’ll cost less in the end. I spent less than $550 and have room for three more drives.

I have started collecting old Lenovo/IBM stuff, and on a whim ordered one of these Lenovo 4337 docking stations for my T420. It was $8 from a reseller, and I actually just wanted it to work, not be a "collectible".

Just got this Brass Eagle Nightmare SB (aluminum version). The seller mentionned it is leaking. Not tested yet.

Never seen this back bottle adaptor, anyone have info on it?

It was just Brass Eagle’s version of a constant air adapter. Brass CA part is threaded on the front side to screw into the gun and replace the normal 12 gram screw. There should be a gas thru 12 gram installed on the front of the brass piece as well. The steel ring is just to help align and hold it in place so you don’t unscrew it will the bottle attached. If it is leaking I listed a bunch of the replacement part numbers from JG Airguns here.

This time a New old stock 1963 galaxie passenger rocker panel for a 4 door. Plan is to possibly modify it to work on the 2 door as it has more of the metal I need to replace then a 2 door rocker has.

So cool love the idea. I want to try one out. Right now I just use a dump pouch but I’m curious how well this works. The idea is awesome I’m curious if it can be improved or made more ergonomic.

But, I bought it figuring on a rescue operation.

My grail gun arrived today. Great condition black to red Black Magic. The only way it could have been better was if it was red to black. I don’t even know the last time I shot an electro because the ENMEy has been my go to since it came out. I also have my half block Sniper too. I’ll have to take this out to play a few times, but if it ends up being a wall hanger, that’s fine, it will bring a smile every time I look at it.
