Finally got a new gear bag. I had gotten my wife the tie dye version of this bag earlier this year and I thought it was the right size for me as well. Found out that Undr will do custom colors for no extra fee, so I had them do an urban digi camo pattern for me. I like the way it came out.

I ordered $300 bucks worth of upgrades for my bike over Labor Day weekend. They all showed up Friday. Spend all day yesterday getting my forks installed, but I got it! That crown race was a real MFer.

Rockshox tk silvers with air cartridge, cheap used 25 dollar dropper post, one up pedals, maxxis dissector rear tire, and a raceface 35mm stem. All on a bike that's worth about $150 today.

The handlebars were freebies from my buddies takeoff pile.

21/2” steel pipe and a rubber mallet makes quick work of it.

and where are you ridding where you would want a dissector for rear. I mainly ride XC type trails.. lots of blues and greens, a few black… but it’s not what I enjoy. I love fast flowing trails and grinding climbs.. I loathe hike a bike. I don’t like anything that puts my day job at risk.

I ride on The Minnesota single Tracks near my house. The one I like the most has clay packed jumps. But is sandy in spots. The dissector as a front isn't great in loose pack from my reading. My buddy who rides mtb much better than me gave me the betty as a take off. He recommended I leave the betty up front for handling loose sandy stuff when we are flowing. I was honestly going to put the betty on the back, and dissector up front.

I'm a sucker for a bargain. And that was on sale for 40 bucks during labor day weekend. After I paid for it, I saw an Assagi as REI for 47. That would have been a better value. But the order was already placed. It's still loads better than the specialized ground control tire I had thousands of road miles on.

I realize I have 2 back wheels essentially, so I'm just playing with it. I really ultimately want a nicer bike. These mods were just to spend just enough to make this ride safe as I progress and save my money.

I wasn’t gonna suggest it for a front.. it’s just a pretty beefy enduro/downhill tire on a hardtail… that’s a rougher life than I’d like to live.. lol I’m lazy, give me full sus all day.

I really want a full suspension bike. I'm being coached to buy a trail bike 2019 or newer, ideally 160mm fork, 140 frame. After studying bikes for months. I have a boutique appetite. Lmao.

I know some of ya will appreciate these.

So I was shopping around for MTB bits over Labor Day weekend.and I stumbled upon JT Racing's site.

Obviously I was estatic to see JT branded gear that was geared towards BMX and dirt biking.

They had these sick Camel sponsored supecross gloves in a few colors, but I really liked these yellows.

Long story short they only had one XXL pair in stock in this color. I went back 2 days later to show my friends the wicked gloves I wish I could buy, and they had one large pair in stock. I instantly bought them.

Nothing stratches that 90s kid need for nostalgic feels like JT branded BMX gloves that promote smoking cigarettes as cool!

Had a pretty good ebay score, a lot of this is gonna probably be for sale soon, I really just wanted the ccmd inception pump parts. Unfortunately whoever did the ano work botched it and left a lot of blems on the parts, but now I don't feel bad about using her lol
The ebay seller wrapped everything in plastic wrap, so it took a good half hour to unwrap everything lol. I'm a ok with that, glad nothing was damaged in shipping.

Is that a sidewinder reg on the purple? The reg and vasa look a bit funky, but I like funky stuff. Like the blue inception too. Good grab.

Came in Friday. Super clean. I’ve always thought i wouldn’t like the AT pipe. Maybe I’ll get the chance to find out this weekend.

The AT pipe has never given me any issues. I don't think I have ever noticed it while playing. That silver is beautiful.

Looks good on there, also like the dust finish! What is the reason or benefit of a slide frame?

Cal440 Yes most of it is some shade of dust black. The frame is almost like a bright dip black. Not dust but also not polished. No real reason to try the frame other than something different. I really liked this frame on my Girlfriend's NX1 sniper so I figured I'd get another.

I recently had one come across my bench. Frame seems fine, I was a little disappointed in the trigger plate finish. Also was not a fan of the trigger shoe.

The last nine seasons I’ve been using a set of Salomon QST 99 skis. They’re showing their age and I wanted to try something slightly narrower, so I treated myself to a new pair of Salomon QST 92 skis.

All my summer hobbies are wrapping up and I bought my ski pass for the season. Now I’m waiting impatiently for snow.
