Got this Insert Bored LAPCO Grey Spirit in from Grendel
It wasn't today, but I finished setting it up the way I like it today.

Shoots good, definitely nice. Very interesting stock set up with the LAPCO stock holding the MIcro CA II.

Swapped to #6 Tube from #4
Cleaned it up and swapped all the seals
    Much lighter trigger Spring
    Installed Check Valve
30 Shots at just under 300 FPS

Might slap a Female Stabilizer on in front of the changer for ultimate consistency and efficiency, but going to wait until it is warm out to test that.

Love that underslung changer, Haven't seen one of those set up in years.

It's worth noting, though, if you found some of the old 4mm or 1/8" "micro" line, that'd buy you an easy 2-3 shots per cartridge over that greasegun hose. (Admittedly the hose looks more 'period correct".

On the FemStab, only way I'd run something like that is if you ran a check valve on the 'changer (which I suspect you probably already have set up.)

      Doc.

Confirmed Doc, check valve on the changer. Efficiency on the 2nd cartridge goes way up from not having to charge the whole system first.

I'll test of course, but my experience is that these valves usually get best results at 600PSI regulated. That should buy me some consistency when temperatures are swinging. It did good as is though, and it's cold out now. So I am in no rush to mess with it. We will see how it is in the summer.

As for the hose, it is a tough call, looking cool, or best efficiency.

You can stuff it with weedwacker line. It will help take up space. Best of both.

eBay had some NOS shaft 4/5 backs for cheap. I just wish the tan color were still available. Oh well, the kits are more filled out now!

Start with a new oring when you cut your macro line bevel the end so it’s not a sharp edge and grease it with some Dow 55 if you have it. Often what happens is the macro line is sharp and cuts the sealing surface on the oring that seals under pressure. I run 12g pressure to mine with no issues and that’s a lot of on and off pressure. Key is rounding off the cut on the macro so it preserves the inner sealing surface on the oring. They definitely are the best looking fittings. Brass is cool hope you didn’t pay scalp prices for them CCM posted some not long ago.

I have an MBP, T2, and an S6.5M and have had no issues with any of my fittings. These are for a Mag build, let’s just say I got lucky on these at normal CCM pricing for two pairs. They are not brass, these are copper. That sounds like solid advice to follow Chuck thank you.

I wanted a pre2k body for a stock class sniper project and it just so happens this one was partway there already. Just gotta see if BMC is willing to get the stripped IVG screw out and pop off the feedneck. Either way I love that it was cheap and matches my other sniper!

I’d like to see how the build goes. I’m interested in a stock class style marker. Where are you getting the horizontal feed tube from? And how do you plan to mount it?

The body was already tapped for a phantom feed, so I just had to pry the feedneck out, it couldn't have been easier. I'll end up posting photos when the builds complete

Got the MCS emek conversion kit. Made my emek into a super lightweight mag gun. Played with it last week and had a blast with it. It's a fun way to get into magfed for cheap.

Huh… I haven’t looked at their site for a while. I’m not surprised they made an Emek kit. How does it compare to the emf100 (feel, weight, length, etc)?
Looks like the magwell accepts the Dye mags instead of their own Helix mags.

It’s got to be lighter weight it don’t have all the extra crap on it. It’s cheap to for the kit especially if yah got an Emek laying around. I’m curious how close they got the internals because that’s the key to making it feed good.

It is extremely light. It uses your emek internals and shoots just like my emeks. It shoots FS rounds well and uses my cf20 mags. I think it had issues with the dye mags a buddy told me. I used it all day and it worked great.

I got some new bars for my mtb.

On up v2 carbons. 50mm rise.

Hope I don't regret the added height, but I've been curious to try taller bars all summer.

I wouldnt have splurged on these, but my dad gave my $200 for Chrisrmas and wrote "handlebars?" In the card. So I had to.

Ive also got a #4 powertube for this one. Thinking about modding a remote line on/off for a vasa.
One of the spare bodies is cocker threaded but i need bore drop guts for them.
Also, mines a unibody but theres plenty of meat on the barrel. Was the ghost chopped and bored by someone on here?
