My wife's stolen Dark Angel LED popped up on Ebay.
Maybe you guys should coordinate and file a class action suit against ECA? If local law enforcement in his area doesn't care about one case of a stolen marker, maybe bring a dozen at once and they will pay attention

PD doesn't give a shit about stolen property. I spoke with the local PD there when my gun was being held hostage. They would not lift a finger until they got a call from my local PD since the crime technically happened from where it was shipped. I live in Los Angeles so lol FML, you can go to a station and still never see a cop.
I think the only way you get cops to do something would be to go in person to his local PD and demand action and even then, very unlikely.
thats great news.
ebay has really gone down hill in the last few years and i find myself messaging a seller 1st to see how and when they respond. Sellers that respond to feedback is another thing i look for.
i find myself either spending a little more or waiting a little longer when i come across a standup seller.
dont know the full story but sounds like you found one here too.
That's a two-way street though. You wouldn't believe the amount of useless messages that buyers send. Last week I had a guy go back and forth negotiating with me, only to tell me at the end that he's not actually interested in buying but that he has the same thing and wanted to know what it was worth.
So who is this stand up character that is getting all the eca markers back to their owners? If they have gear that's not stolen property I may be interested in buying something from them.

Did I see it was Uncle Bob who ended up with a lot of the markers?
I’m happy you’re getting it back! Simultaneously, I hope that poor guy who bought the lot isn’t taking a huge L. Especially, if it’s Bob, he’s been a treasure to the Angel community and just stepped away within the last few months.

Ryan Trischetta, in my few transactions with him he has been very reasonable. Seems like a good guy.
It's back home! There are more scratches and dings than when it was sent in but it's here. I dug out the barrel and it's fitted again. Now to get an on/off ASA. Then it'll be ready for Mrs. B again.
I offered to pay for his time and materials. There's no reason he should be out money like I had been. It's no fault of his own that he had other's stolen property.
