I don't believe they have shipped yet.

On FB I saw a post asking same question and Buddy noted the majority went out yesterday after finished being built.

A follow-up comment noted that he is expecting more for anyone interested.

I wish they had an e-mail restocking list. I guarantee I will miss the next release by a few hours, again.

I did email them to try and get one. They did say they were going to email me when they become available again. Not sure exactly what that means if I have to beat out FBook or not. But I messaged them when the New cocker was coming out and taking pre orders to try and get just the frame and they wouldn’t sell it. Said “they have no plans to sell it separately”. I messaged them last week and they said they would email me when the next batch comes in so who knows. Probably going to put it on my LNT ridgeback body I have and build an open class pump out of it. It’s been sitting in a box for to long.

I received shipping confirmation this morning. What will your frames be going on?

I got a tracking number for mine this morning too. If I end up actually putting it on something, I’m thinking a custom milled design I came up with almost 15 years ago when I first got into cockers.

These look great, if they do put some up for sale again I'll jump on one (if I'm quick enough) 😂

Same dude. I hesitated and immediately regretted it.

Wanted arrived today I swapped it onto my Inception Kryptonite Sniper to give it a try. This frame is really comfortable in the hands!

I should have got one of those when they came out. I ended up getting a ripper body instead and I kick myself every time. Right after I built my ripper everything came out in that style. While the Kryptonite is still a unique look. That’s a really nice build!

Got mine in last night. I haven't mounted it onto a gun, but I have 2 observations:

#1 the UL feels great in the hands, as I expected it would. It translates really well from a double to a single trigger.
#2 the trigger pull is kinda gritty. Looks like the sear spring is rubbing against the frame a bit, and the dust black anodized trigger plate is inherently not as smooth as a chrome plate. The shoe feels great though.

I think I'll be letting mine go after having it mounted on a gun. Here are the reasons why:

+ When shooting right handed, I pull the trigger on an autococker with my middle finger. When you try to do that with this frame it feels awkward due to the finger grooves. With that said, it feels amazing if you hold the frame as intended and pull with your pointer finger.

+ The trigger leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. I will say that the trigger plate has less side to side play than the plate that came with my 2018 Millennium. The UL frame when mounted on a sniper struggled to achieve a decent pull despite attempting multiple different hammer lug depths. I'm sure with more time, effort and different springs it could be improved if desired.

+ The T-Slot ASA mount limits what On/Off can be used without purchasing more parts. No way to mount a POPS or EZ on/off directly or with a universal rail.

With that being said, it still could be a great frame for most people. I'd probably swap out the plate and springs and look into polishing if the finger grooves were more mellow.

So the T slot will only fit the Dye ASA? Dose it have the DM feel when you hold it or is it a bit thicker? I always loved the feel of the DM grips. Just never really was a fan of DM markers.

Chuck E Ducky You can use some older style dovetail ASA's like a CP as well but the two CCM's I have didn't fit. It's a similar thickness to original UL frame on DM' but not quite as slim as the frame on my DSR+.

I got mine mounted on my S5. I have no mechs I’m willing to mount it on ATM. I took it apart to inspect and lube. Four drops of oil (AKA Extreme Lube), and spending some time with the set screws In fairly happy with the feel. I think replacing the front screw with another brass tipped screw and some time polishing parts would turn this thing into a stunner. But that’s the same for all frames out of the box IMO.

The UL frame shape is a Classic at this point and feels great.

The dovetail rail system in 2022 is definitely antiquated, but on the flip side anything but a Dye ASA on their frame is sacrilege.

So is the general consensus at the moment that these are comfy and look sweet, but there may be some QC issues?

Hmm, I wouldn't say it has QC issues. Only thing I could criticize in that regard is that the frame is drilled for a forward trigger stop, but doesn't actually have a forward tigger stop screw. IDK if it was supposed to come with one though.

The issue is that the trigger plate is both finished and made out of a material that is not conducive to a smooth trigger pull. WIth a standard chromed plate, or even just a polish ano'd plate, the frame would be much much better.

I went to buy one yesterday evening but they are out of stock.

On the flip side, just getting the set screws adjusted, adding some oil and just cycling it a bunch has made world of difference. It’s breaking in nicely.
