Only real market for this is the ICPL and other 10 man tournament scene. Force fed loader with a built in timer is cool, and most of those guys likely don’t mind shelling out the money for having the built in timer and rechargeable batteries. If it looked cooler I don’t think it’d be getting as much hate.

Hold up. Anyone else see the feed rate? They are claiming "up to 83 BPS". THAT is pure bullshit. Rotors claim 30 ish, but when I've really pushed them in blind electros they top out mid teens. After that shots start skipping/clipping, and eyes start to become necessary again. Nothing against them either, the rotor is a great loader, imo the best loader for the money that is available. Claiming 83 bps is just pure fucking nonsense. There is no way that hopper can completely dump in under 2.5 seconds. Even claiming that is madness that I refuse to believe without video proof.

Since the fire rate was above the frame speed of the camera they had to include the sound signature in the picture so you could see where each ball was being fired at

That makes sense, the rotor is awesome, I was just saying in my experience, you can't run a blind gun at 20 BPS even with a rotor. At least I've never been able to. If the gun has eyes (like a DM7) it can account for the loader feeding faster or slower for a fraction of a second and it's not an issue, but if the gun is blind it can't handle even a slight hiccup in feed rate without chopping.

I like it. Metal feedneck ensures there's no snapping from a hard dive. Charging makes having to carry spare batteries less of a pain in the ass. While I don't care much about the screen, being able to change settings of the loader is awesome. Add to that a ramp with really good springs and the ability to update the firmware, there's a lot of good on this that people are hating on for no good reason.

I wouldn't say it's without good reason though here

If you find yourself having to change settings so frequently that the screen becomes a feature for it I have to ask what's wrong with the hopper that you need to change settings that often?

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't replace my Spire V. It has everything *I* need, but having another option out there is never a bad thing and I don't consider the rotors as being an option given how frequently they jam (they even have a trigger to move jams).
I have a few pieces of carbon gear and they really are made very well, to the point I don't regret it ask myself if I should go for another option.
