Agreed. Like Azodins, although no quad detents, which break quite a bit of paint unless using the toughest field grade, because they shoot the ball into the barrel.
It’s nice to see them…or anyone on earth for that matter…actually innovating and innovating in a way that is looooong over due: preventing rollouts. They idea that someone would buy a brand new Freeflow or CCM for four digits and the manufacturer is just kinda…pretends you can buy paint from 1993 still…conveniently ignoring the gun’s only problem. It’s bizarre. It’s nice to see Nova at least try to see if this will work. Also the price is not bad considering you don’t need a $100 barrel for it.
HOWEVER…all I can say is that auto trigger must be the hardest damned thing to develop on earth. They redesigned the body and the pneumatics on the Auto version but the pump version still has no AT like CCM, Inception, or even Azodin. It must be incredibly difficult for even a manufacturer to make it work. I know as a DIYer I gave up on my own fabricobbled stuff that only worked %88 of the time and only if held a certain way and just went back Nelson AT which is easy to make work and works perfectly always.
Has anyone here used one of the AT Azodin pumps? Does it work?
Aren’t you the “all you need is electrical tape”-guy anyway? You’re correct though
AT is surprisingly tricky to get right on cockers and spyders. My inception AT works but will eventually stop after the hammer lug vibrates a mm in or out. I would fix it with low strength loctite but I can’t be bothered when I’m not playing airball
I do unironically love that NOVA confidently makes stuff nobody asked for.
I’ve soured on nova after the recent Duckslide fiasco. Now they’re fudging returns and ghosting customers? Can’t get behind that . I can forgive the issues, but I won’t tolerate shit customer service anymore. They can do better and I hope they do because Nova has couple markers I’d love to pick up, this one included.

My issue with them is that everything is a copy of someone else’s hard work and it’s all made in China. Bad customer service is probably more of a side effect of the two other issues. That is…they didn’t design it…they don’t actually make it…how much can they possibly help you with it? They are not big believers in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genchi_Genbutsu to say the least.
The Duckslyde should have been an instant hit. The OG is basically just a huge heavy pump handle that makes a Phantom “cooler” but objectively worse in every way. People don’t even shoot the things, they just sell them onto the next guy. How hard is that to copy?
