I finally had a chance to use my revolver in game this weekend.
first off, talk about a very anti-climactic experience! Having a few people there interested in how it worked, I took it to the chrono. I loaded a disc of 50 cal first strike rounds. Since I installed it as is, I had NOT touched the velocity adjustment.

what?
i did not expect it to come pre tuned!
No leaks, no issues (no eliminations)
Well done!

Remember, the goal of these adjusters is to allow for adjusting, primarily by dropping, the velocity so these are paintball field legal. If you want something that will boost/increase the output/velocity, this is not the modification you seek.Last edited by GeeTee; 10-18-2021, 01:27 PM.

Installed 1 of 2 kits this weekend.
First off, thank you for the photos and video, it made figuring out where all the springs go a lot less frustrating.
everything went well, and though I have not adjusted it with a chrono, so far it is leak free and cycles normal. All parts are quality, maybe too quality for this pot metal pistol.
Lessons I learned:
-Use a nice pin spanner to remove the soft brass rear valve cap.
-Use tape or zip ties to keep the trigger/sear/linkage secured while you dick with the valve to avoid having to look up the photo of the springs…
- Test fire prior to complete reassembly (noted in video) to avoid frustration.
- Map out all the screws (3 sizes and 2 threads)
- Be sure to thank those who do the leg work so we can all have cool shit.
THANK YOU!

Crappy installation video acquired!
First, I'd like to apologize. The potato I used to shoot this video got so hot that it baked itself, and started losing focus near the end of the video. This video is a cure for insomnia, disguised as a video for installing a velocity adjuster into a Umarex HDR50/TR50.

Can confirm that these do fit the 11 Joule HDR50/TR50, as initially expected. I purchased an 11J valve assembly from MCS just to confirm. The following is what the 11J valve looks like. It has a "C" shaped devolumizer, that must be removed to install the velocity adjuster. There is also a threaded in flat disk with a tiny hole that acts as the dump chamber fill restriction. This should probably also be removed.
