my only comment is that it depends on what paint your field gets. I was preparing for tiny paint coming back and my field carries valken which has been pretty close to old 2000s paint size wise. 688 is a nice overbore and some times a bore match still, doubt I will ever have to use anything smaller than my 682 inserts with cockers/pumps unless I go play elsewhere and likely will be at 684 -686 a lot to under bore.
Yeah I have to agree. Aim for a freak kit is probably your best option.
J&J ceramic also made a decent kit. I think the smaller sizes only came in the full 8 piece kit but even still a lot of players don't value those all that much so it's possible.
Empire had a good kit (8"backs even) that came with the resurrections and snipers early on. It might be possible to find one of those that someone replaced. Honestly I'd say just make a new WTB thread saying you are looking for a cocker threaded barrel kit in general rather than a specific one and just make sure it has some smaller sizes (680 or under preferred)

Hit up Hellion360 for Inception Stella backs, which are very affordable and come in 675 680 685 and larger 690. Get a 689 Slimline tip and you're golden. My favorite barrel.
