Made this in a couple days wanting to invoke a retro feel for the Ion. Which I think that's the name I'm gonna give it. The Retro.😍

The bridge is about 120 hours across about 3 dozen plates. The Dark Helmet was several days worth of printing too. I think that was 9 or 10 total plates at roughly 8-12 hours a plate

Beef gave me the side eye over this one.

“The Psyclone Feed” is born! Cyclone Tippmann to TIPX mag adapter STEN style. Credit to UntangleWorks on Printables for the design. It’s pretty simple and well designed hopefully it feeds as good as it looks. Should be interesting with the response trigger.

Anarchicarctic is going to be testing it out I will have him post pictures of it, and any issues. But the print file has been around for a while and it’s the 5th version so hopefully a lot of the kinks are worked out. The goal is to have it working in time for Riots MagFed take over at Liberty Paintball. We plan on Jankin the local Mag fed guys up with a lil Trolling and good paintball. We always get split up when we play so it will be fun playing people who don’t know any better yet lol. + they let me shoot First Strikes 😈 (this will not shoot FS just standard paint)

I don’t see why not. As long as the feed mount is the same. I imagine it is. But I don’t really know that much about them and the differences. I was a VM guy in that era.

Working on some warp feed fittings, the verticle output goes right into the hopper, so this one kicks out at 40 degrees, and a "spacemag" Z frame, I can't seem to find the pictures of the marker with the frame I used initially for inspiration to recreate my own version.

Automag rail. just want to see if it's feasible.
Also a little barrel lock nubbin, TPU with a little bouncy shelf inside, and a brass 1/8" rod. it kinda works

Printed off a ripper body for my enmey in PETG. Pictured as well is a "ultra trigger" printed in ABS I snagged off eBay.

Nice. Yeah I had saw that as well, but figured I'd splurge for one printed in a stronger material than PETG. Lmk how it goes!

Fun fact. PETG ends up being stronger than ABS when printed due to better layer adhesion. I also found that PETG played better with the enmey rocket, but that could have just been geometry of my design.

Nice! I thought about something like this once. The splines work out well for positioning? Did you have to put an oring in the tank thread area to get that bit to stay snug in the ASA?

The splines are for positioning, yes. They work well! There’s no o-ring, but I suppose a groove could be added. The ASA adapter fits pretty snugly so unless there’s an earthquake I don’t see it falling off the wall

The only change I made was to use Fusion to punch a hole in the adapter for the ASA pin depressor nub

While I didn't print anything today, the Mrs. finally agreed that a 3D Printer is something that we've both seen a need for in each others hobbies, so that's being bought today. This thread has been really inspiring. I'm ready for the rabbit-hole.

Bambu X2D I think? (or H2D/H2C/H2S?). My buddy has an X1C but I'm not seeing that anymore. I'm all ears Rainmaker if there's a reccomended favorite that supports the needs of printing for Paintball/Airsoft (wife's hobby is for actualizing her artwork into 3d models). Dual Nozzle vs Single for what needs making here?

Bambu Lab printers have been pretty solid, honestly no issues or complaints with the few models I've used so far. I have not delved into the dual nozzle world, but that would be slick! My A1 and P2S printers with single nozzles and excellent PETG prints have been all I need for anything paintball related thus far.
