my hand made 1 inch lift kit back to normal ride height seems to work ... almost ready for the ice season ....

the "adjustable" 996 GT3 suspension is not particularly adjustable, you could maybe lower it 5-10mm, and you cannot raise it. i had to engineer some spacers to get back up to stock suspension ride height.

Track adjustable not rally adjustable hehe

98 Eclipse GSX. Automatic AWD, has an old school borg warner s362 (cast wheel still), divided t4 exhaust manifold. Has a pile of modification but a very fun car to drive and race. Goes low 10s in the 1/4, trying to break 9s and I'll be happy with it.

Guy I work with had an older one that was an Animal but he recently sold it for a Nova. Thing launched so hard it was insane. Hardened strait cut dog box and he still kept breaking stuff. Those are fun cars.

Brings me back. Don't see many on the street anymore. Cool

My first brand new vehicle, Tacoma Trail Edition. I love it and plan to have it last as long as I do.

Also, how have we not talked about cars?

I’m always down to chat about cars. I just ordered up the parts I need to go through my fuel system on my NSX. Last time I had it out it was cutting out on me. So I picked up coils plugs pump and the replacement relays. Still have to install my new ATS harmonic balancer and I’m deleting the V Tec valves with a polished spacer. Dino results say it drops like 2hp low end but I won’t have to worry about the butterfly valves dropping screws into the titanium valves on the intake side. + I pick up like 15hp off parasitic loss from the new harmonic balancer so it’s going to feel more snappy anyway. I been hoarding parts for it as they have more inflation than CCM parts. Find this new company that’s offering NSX-R 1 to 1 bucket replica seats at a very reasonable price in black carbon fiber. But I want to make sure I can get leather seat covers for them. Im not a big fan of the R red cloth look. (I want that OEM+ look) Im still waiting on the dimensions from the company to make on e sure I can use the OEM NSXR power rails with the seats. After the seats I will pretty much have a left hand drive 1st Gen NSXR except the headliner interior mods and (I'm keeping the stereo system in the car) cuz I l like my tunes.

Brought his home this weekend - the girlfriend and I are pretty excited to have a fun weekend car.

Wow that looks like a blast! Is it less wear and tear on the car?

no, its far more wear and tear on the car. studs kill everything they touch, fender liners, wireing etc. they also put ridiculous wear on the car because you are drifting at 40+mph over lake ice, which is bumpy as hell. so wheel bearings, esp rears are a classic, front steering stuff often goes too, tire rods, etc. and finally, when there is a lot of snow, sutds means you hit the snow banks at double the speed ... so bumper covers, side skirts etc ... all real vulnerable unless you armor them up. nothing i do with cars is tougher than ice running them. it tough on cooling and anything that takes airflow too.

the brush bars are not a joke (the lights arnt either).

that was last year. had snow over the hood when i went in there.

the porsche, prepping it was going to be a lot of work, and alot of money, so thats why i went with just a spare bumper cover. next year ill have lights and bars though.

some more stuff from this last weekend:

Just bought it. 2020 Veloster N in Performance Blue.

Fun little hot hatch, and the noise it makes is ridiculous haha. Really wanted a Focus RS but couldn't find a decent one in the price range I was looking at.

T-18. Frame is pretty solid, body is in OK shape. Needs some lovin’ but I’m up for the challenge
