Guy I work with had an older one that was an Animal but he recently sold it for a Nova. Thing launched so hard it was insane. Hardened strait cut dog box and he still kept breaking stuff. Those are fun cars.

98 Eclipse GSX. Automatic AWD, has an old school borg warner s362 (cast wheel still), divided t4 exhaust manifold. Has a pile of modification but a very fun car to drive and race. Goes low 10s in the 1/4, trying to break 9s and I'll be happy with it.2 Photos

my hand made 1 inch lift kit back to normal ride height seems to work ... almost ready for the ice season ....
the "adjustable" 996 GT3 suspension is not particularly adjustable, you could maybe lower it 5-10mm, and you cannot raise it. i had to engineer some spacers to get back up to stock suspension ride height.

So the SLC Superlite sold for a hefty profit. Sad to see it go but picked up a great deal on a low mileage 2020 Corvette out of Florida that’s getting a full custom wide body kit done by Mr Widebody in CA w/ a full House of Kolor swap. Then it’s going to Vett Dr in NY for the motor build. Hopefully have it back by spring.

This one is a 6-speed manual with the factory short throw kit.
I enjoy manual transmissions, but this is my 5th car in a row with a manual (before this was two WRXs and two Corvettes), and it probably is no longer a deal breaker for me if a car has an automatic.
That being said, I think the manual in this BRZ is particularly satisfying.

Exactly… I want an MT-9 so bad I miss riding. But I can’t responsibly get one until the kids are older and out the house. Live fast take chances. I snagged a Cruiser a while back figuring I would be less prone to doing the stupid. In the end I sold it after only a few rides. I would love to build a track bike but I don’t have that disposable income yet.
