    rebuilding a tank reg

I've done it before, but it's been a while, so let me make sure I've got this straight.

No oil in the fill nipple.

Oil is okay on the pin valve.

But what about the regulator piston inside the reg? I seem to remember a little grease should be used in there.

Yes, you will need to grease the internals, piston included.

Use a synthetic grease. I believe Dow Molykote 111 is a common paintball regulator grease.

Grease only. Any oil is just going to get blown out the first time you air it up.

Otherwise, get a rebuild kit from the manufacturer if at all possible, the o rings can be specific

Okay. I did buy a rebuild kit for the tank reg.

What kind of grease should I use? I have white lithium grease....various greases for my machine tools.... I've got a few tubes of Planet Eclipse grease too. A little Google-fu tells me that the Planet Eclipse stuff is a type of Dow 33, whatever that means.
