    Psycho ballistics

How would you rate these for quality and values on them?

They are generally considered pretty low on the list. Most of the the stock was sold for less than $100 brand new and that included a fitted carrying case. The pneumatics were worthless but once replaced a serviceable marker, definitely pumps as well, can certainly be made from bodies and frames. Generally consider loose tolerances to be a rule.

Descent for pump then? What would that be worth now? Everything cocker is going up

Granted it was 2015 but I bought my psychobalistics pump for $50

It was a good first pump but I'm glad I moved on

Even on the current market I'm not sure I would say the pumps are worth $100

Depends if it's a Super bolt or a lightning or a lightning deluxe (Double trigger)
          • Super bolts $120-$150
          • Lightning Deluxe $80-$100
          • Lightning $75-$90
That's mint with carrying case and stock barrel. Their bolts/pneumatics are complete garbage

I bought a new one back in the day when they were trying to clear inventory. I think I paid around $100 for it. That thing was GARBAGE. Pneus all leaked out of the box. So I replaced them with stock WGP pneus. Once I got those on, I couldn't get it to cycle. After some investigating, I found that the lower tube was bored at a slight angle and the hammer was binding against the body. No way to fix that. I sold off the trigger frame and bolt, and threw the rest of it in the bin.

I bought a pump when they were clearing house.
Much lighter than standard cocker and it sot good. I got it to try cocker pump (i was a Nelson fan boy at the time).
Later i got a WGP pump, and it felt much sturdier (and 3 times the weight).
I dont have much negative to say about it (again, the pump version) as it served its purpose for me.

I cannot talk about the semi as ive never used one.

I would never buy one, you couldn’t give me one.

As far as value see how heavy it is, to see its value in scrap. They don’t even work unless they are pumps even then they are still terrible. It will cost more to get one working then it cost to just buy something decent. Scrap

I was at a local shop years ago when they got a shipment in. Guy behind the counter aired a few and couldn't get the ram and 3-ways to stop leaking, and he knew his way around Cockers. I believe the valves leaked too, as the lower bore wasn't drilled correctly. The triggers were gritty, but they could probably be salvaged.

Haha ok so they are terrible, but for the price worth a go for a pump. On the plus side are nice looking bodies

They're great project bases, and most of the ones you see for sale are either converted to pump or have the pneumatics replaced already.

They're the equivalent of a Chinese SKS. Kinda crappy quality with outdated technology, but cheap and a good base to work from.

I still remember my first SKS encounter. Length of pull sized for a child soldier, trigger grittier than Clint Eastwood, and surplus ammo that smelled of rotten eggs.

Holy cow, there was a $100 new ‘Cocker at some point? Sheesh. Not even Harbor Freight would try that.

Ansgear was selling old stock nib super bolts (maybe it was lightings) not to long ago for a little over $100 a few months ago. They really are cheap.

More like a bunch of poorly spec'ed parts loosely assembled to form a vague approximation of a Cocker.

So who started this crap brand? Whoever greenlit the project clearly didn’t know what they were getting into.

This sort of blows my mind...the idea that any cocker...pump even, would be worth less than $100 in the aftermarket...because those in the know would rather have four Spiders instead...thats pretty crappy. People will put up with a lot of BS for autococker ownership.
