    DD68

just wondering if anyone on here has any info on the whereabouts this specific, exact duck. always stood out to me as a grail among grails.
love the slamgrip, love the finish, love the cuts and porting.
figured this might be the best place to try and track it down. even if its "going to the grave" with the current owner, maybe i can gleam some measurements

I take it that, you've seen the VintageRex info already. Says it's 1 of 16 DD68 w/slam changer frame.(at least when the write up was done by Shiba-kun)....and that's about all the help, I can be, on the subject.

This is where I wish the old MCB was still around.... IIRC It was purchased by Rapper Iced-T (Could have been Ice Cube but was one of them) as it was sold for charity to benefit Rod Thompson of CCM who was going through some medical issues or something at the time. That Duck was David Loo's Personal Duck and is One of a Kind. David used to know and play with members of the Rap community back in the day ( Particularly members of NWA,DJ Yella was actually an MCB member and told us the story before) so when this came up for auction for a good cause the bidding skyrocketed. It sold for around $7k IIRC and hasn't been seen since

Yes, DJ Yella is (was?) an avid player and frequently used Carter's.... Years ago I tried to trade some stuff he was after for a signed nwa hat, but nothing ever came of it.

I know of two but I’m sworn to secrecy ( Like really I gave my word we don’t talk about fight club ). It’s not Daves personal one but he has 2 of the original run in SC form with working slam changers. I have held them in my hand it’s why my Carter Duck became a bucket list marker for me. There are two I know of in the North East. Those slam changers are not as usable as you would think they are finicky and a bit dangerous honestly.

The one I know is an old MCB member from before the great reset.
