    Jeeps pistol to rifle project

Member Jeep sent me his pistol and said make me a rifle and make it left offset feed.
add a few who-who's and a rear site to her please.... oh... a little inlay on the stock would be nice too...

So I grabbed a piece of walnut and cut this out for starters...

Unmodded pistola setting on wood stock...

I love how your builds evolve over time. Each one takes a little character from the last.

This is no exception. You make custom look easy.

Made a trigger assembly from the grip frame and mounted marker in stock so you can check her out...
still need to finish polishing her out and make a trigger guard...
and the bolt, caps, rod and handle.. etc...

Had a little time for this one so I made a trigger guard for her ( not installed) and a pump handle from the fore end cutoff...
i need to inlet the pump handle a bit so it rides over the front rings but it fits well.
i willl include your stock handle when I send to you also... or if you don't likel this one I'll install your original handle..
                    what do you think...

Press on photo for bigger pic...

I love the pump handle. But at this point Im pretty sure you could polish a turd and Id probably like it.

This gives me western vibes. Like it belongs in a holster on a horseback

That pump handle is great. It really smooths out the marker. Definitely a keeper!!

Completed this one today... Had to make a new trigger for her, added a palmer high flow valve, enlarged the valve ports and added new seals... and made a longer cocking rod from brass..
This one has the stock bore barrel but I added wedets to stop those smaller balls from rolling out.
She shoots very well and sights right on.
I did manage to break the handle ( don't ask) so I made a new one a bit wider...
i did glue the original back together and it seems pretty strong but....
im sending both and your original handle back to you also.
Very comphy in your hands, she is a bit shorter than a full length rifle and points nicely also..

The trigger is brass? I was thinking of going with a brass trigger, but how does it hold up against the hammer?
