This thread made me email Dan... Time to acquire a K frame.... again.

Who is doing brass work these days? (I asked Dan, he is busy).

The brass work for all the markers in the original post as done by the individual player in attendance - with the exception of 1 or 2 of them.

JeeperCreeper made his and either 1 or 2 others pictured - but he can speak to it better than I can.

JeeperCreeper is the single shot man. Im getting a speed demon left feed first strike ready freak bore one. The way he dose the freak inserts is so clean looking. If Dan is doing another run of brass let us know I think Packers might be looking for a brass frame.

Chuck E Ducky - As far as I know the frames are aluminum as he mentioned anodizing. Jeeper sent me a PM, we are brainstorming.

Appart from the look, does the brass frame help to make a counterweight?
what is the main reason to go for brass frame over aluminum?

I'm with Chucky. Yes, the brass is heavy, but it gives the gun a much better balance and makes it point easier.

I have one of each. The brass feels and points better to me. More weight in the hand instead of the tip. I’ve got the hogue rosewood conversion monogrips with finger grooves and checkering.

They have a really nice feel the checkering really gives it a nice grippy feel.
      Working...
