Clear part kit for PGP - interest thread

If you can whip up a feed plug with a parabolic tip on it, a front feed plug, and this pump handle, it would be a dope upgrade kit for the pgpness.

I would like to incorporate a threaded insert to help longevity at the pump arm threads, but i will need to make some custom tooling and a bit more R&D to make it fit properly ...

Checking inserts sizes, they are all too big to fit this close to the body 😒
So, i have 2 options:
1) same as above, but pumping like Godzilla will rip the threads off the handle
2) having a bolt run inside the handle and a coupling nut recessed in the back for the pump arm to thread into. It will be a lot more sturdy, but not quite as clean of an aesthetics.

What about a heat set insert, i know you had issues with it blowing out with heat, but what if you made an almost clearance fit. Then made the hole stepped from the front. You would have the insert slide in on the front of the grip on a raised plane. then epoxied? Then it would have material to support it, and it would be plenty sturdy.

CNC kitchen did an awesome video on fitting them on resin parts, but I've had very bad results... No matter what I tried 😕
Heat set insert have very small lip, so they can pull through and resin ten to dramatically explode when failing ... I have a "through bolt" one printing, it's gonna be with the hardware I have on hand (silver) but I sourced all the hardware in brass if I go that route.

after thinking on it, thats is where im going for the first batch. I feel more comfortable selling them with the sturdier hardware.
Good news is i found all the hardware in brass so it will match the PGP. But I have stainless hardware on hand, so the second prototype will have stainless hardware 😁

I'd be interested in figuring out the price for clear for the parts you are working on for me right now. I mainly chose white because I didn't think there was a good clear option out there.

Ok, got some issues and needs a bit more sanding before coating, but the hardware is more discreet than I was worried, so I call that a winner 🥳

My new curing station spit fire, the first batch printed great, but turned a bit brown in the curing ... I need to dial it back just a tad 😅

There is no way the polymer can hold the 12g in place ... but you could have some large windows underneath ...

I made 2 CF-PGP, one of them with both top tube 100% carbon fiber ...
I have some clear tubing to make a feed tube, but im not sure about the barrel ...

This is UV cure nail polish, it's expensive but I've had great results using it to highlight recess on prints.
