    Kframe grips?

What should I be looking for? There are a ton of different grips out there for K frames and I'm wondering what the differences are... I'm hoping for something a bit bigger than the Hogues I'm using right now.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: β€œI shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

β€œBut Lord,” asked Gabriel, β€œIs this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, β€œJust wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

So Sergison typically makes all his frames "round" so if you want Square grips, they need to be conversion grips.
I'm quite partial to the Smith & Wesson closed back square wood grips. They feel like the Houge, just a little bit of palm swell.

AnarchicArctic has some wood grips with snakes stuck on the sides, makes it just a bit more meaty.

I use hogue monogrips. They’re hardwood square conversion with finger grooves and palm swell. Just like the rubber variety there’s no seem to worry about, and as creeper mentioned I added Clint Eastwood rattlesnakes to get more swell, feels great in the hand.

I have some wooden Altamont grips but don’t like them. They don’t line up perfectly and will give me a blister after a few games. I need to try to sand them to see if that helps. The wood grips look nice but I think rubber hogue grips are more comfortable to play with.

I wear gloves 90% of the time but that's good to know.

What material are you partial to?

If you like rubber grips I always liked the pachmayr gripper.

They aren't as soft as hogue.

Oh, and K, L, and X frame grips are all interchangeable.

Not fussy... I've run Hogues on my .45 frame markers since I started but that was mostly due to availability more than personal preference.

Good to know about the interchange.

I personally prefer flat bottom grips. The round ones are a lil short for my hands.

That's what I've got right now - square Hogues (must be "conversion" grips) - but they're shorter than I like.

They look smaller than the Hogues I have... I'm hoping for bigger/wider.

These are slightly beefier than the Hogues. Wish I could show you a comparison but I don't have any Hogues currently.

Pachmayr also made these in a laminated wood. Both on checkered and smooth. They call them kframe renegade laminated grips. Currently all I can find anywhere is rosewood but the had done a black/Grey laminate as well.

If they still sell revolvers in Canada, just go to a gunshop and check some out.
Once you know what fits your hand, grab some from ebay.

Hogue seem to have this model with a longer grip. Can come with or without finger groove.
