Got the main body soldered together today...
stuffed a couple of ole bolts in to make sure all was good...

i like it so far... the bolts will push the balls withen 1/8" of fully seating into the barrels for a nice firm fit...
                more to come...

That two tone is so good looking. Do you treat the brass with anything so that it doesn't tarnish?

No, just a good polish and mothers mag polish to keep it shiny...
I have tried some coatings but they are not tough enough and scratches look not so good as they age... so Polish once a week or so or let it tarnish which a lot of folk like...

Here is a picture of her with some small bits added, all in the rough at this point..
Going to be a while before I can get more completed as I cut my dang thumb into a tape worm yesterday while cutting on the chop saw...

yes, that is a little life blood I didn't get wiped off...

Might have to rename this one Bloody Bad Ass...

You can clear coat over the blood to keep it intact
This build will have your DNA in it forever

Hope you will fully recover soon

I was thinking to do it the fastest stock class way to feed... straight tubes to change, no plugs, doors, windows to mess with..

Here is another picture with a tube in one side.
Feeds are not soldered on yet, nor are feed holes drilled as I wasn't sure what I wanted to happen.
also need to finish the bits and pieces..

Hopefully my thumb will heal up soon and I can get back to her..
