    15/45 efficiency

Anyone know the general efficiency I could expect from a pgp based marker off a 15/45?

I was hoping I could squeeze at least a full size hopper and two 100 ball pods out of it, since that's my pump set up anyways. An I being too ambitions or is that a realistic expectation?

I believe the old rule of thumb is 15 shots per cubic inch at 4500psi. So approximately 225 shots.

Side note, these small tanks get pretty warm when flash filled, and I lose 500 or more PSI as mine cools. So unless you can wait and top it off, it will be tough to keep a "full" fill.

Interesting. That's good to know. I haven't used that tank since I bought it a while ago.

That’s pretty dang low for an emek.. I was getting almost 200 off 13/3k

My hopper holds about 220. I didn't bring a pod so I don't know how many more I would get.

On a well tuned Cocker pump with a good fill I can get almost 250

My walz gets roughly 150 shots. I've never taken the time to count. But I can burn 10x 10 round tubes, and the 21 rounds in the marker with air to spare. That's a P series lower with a long .684 titanium barrel.

Well this will primarily be open class. Might have to bump down to a pocket hopper instead of the revvy I normally use.

You could get away with a JoLo and a few 50’s with the 18ci I get a JoLo and 4x50’s. The 15ci I get like a hopper 60-70 + 3x 50’s and a a few shots to vent. On a well tuned Sniper.

      You won’t get 400. Large hopper (200) and two 100 rounders. That’s a stretch with a 15/45

      What size bore is it?

I would figure you will get somewhere in the 200 shot range with the 15/45 maybe a lil less if it’s a large bore Palmer.

I definitely get over 200 with a sniper probably 275. Full hopper and at least half a pod. But it's got to be a full fill.
I'd be curious what the PGP ends up getting.

Hmm ok. I'm not sure what the bore will be. It's more or less in the planning/pre-build stage. I was just trying to figure out the general ball park. Makes me think my normal 45/45 would be the better play for it unless I'm just playing hopper only.

Why not a 36/4500? The 36 is still small and lighter then the 45/45. I'm hoping to get 500+ shots off of the one I just bought. That's a hopper and some pods.

Only reason I ask is because I have a 15/45 I used on my tracer but I only do stick feed on that. Wondered how the performance would be with a Sheridan based marker

There is an 18ci/4.5k as well. It will give you a lil more. But Sheridan’s are not known for efficiency. They can be tuned and improved if you get it to one of the brass wizards here. I run an 18ci on my sniper 4x50’s and a full JoLo on a hot fill. It’s going to really depend on how well your Sheridan is setup.

I dont have hard data, but I'd expect around 150, maybe less from an open class PGP. Short length, .686 barrel, its not going to be extremely efficient like an Emek.
