Best way to mech an Ion (SP1)

    What I did was drill some holes and I used 1 of the set screws in one hole to keep it from rotating, and a screw through the frame I to the mount in the other hole. I used a larger drill bit to recess the screw so it fits behind the grips.

        I have used a much simplistic, less involved
        means of mounting my SMAV in my SP1:

        It’s not pretty but found some sort of spacer which held the SMAV in the right place. Added some gorilla glue and Bob’s your uncle! Fully functional mech SP1. With the grips on no one can see my ugly glue job and it looks pretty good!

          Lets just hope you can cut the smav out if it ever fails and needs replacing.

          Shouldn’t be an issue, I will be able to leverage or chip the glue out. I failed in my first attempt of gluing and everything came off.
