So I have an ion I’ve been working on. Full rebuild of rings, hoses, and voss armature. Stock except for fire bolt and body. I still have a very small leak down the barrel, and for the life of me I can’t figure it out. It’s still playable and I’m going to let my daughter use it. But the OCD in me wants the leak to stop. What is the possible cause? Ives replaced every o ring twice. Used plenty of down33 as well.

Whats your hpr set to? Maybe the pressure is too high?
otherwise how about the bolt stop? I bet the inner oring on the bolt stop isnt tight enough on your fire bolt. -

Check out the bolt itself. See if there's any nicks or gouges where o rings seat. Also what o rings did you get? I hope not the colored ones
Did you replace the one in the breach just behind the feedneck? Even if you did. It's worth popping it back out and seeing if there's any debris in that groove. Broken shells seem to collect here sometimesComment
