GOG eNMEy gen 1 or 1.5?

Got a deal on an eNMEy but can’t seem to figure out a couple things. Hopefully some of y’all can help me out here. It’s either a Gen 1 or the Gen 1.5. Firstly I’m not too fond of the color and like the body style of the Gen 2 better. Can you put a Gen 2 body on a Gen 1 or is it not that simple? Also is the Gen 1 & 1.5 the one that benefits from the high efficiency valve kit? Lastly anyone have any notion on what the air efficiency is? I’m hoping to be able to get 3 pods and a hopper of a 48/3k tank, that’s not hoping for to much is it? Thanks y’all!

On a side note I was reading the TechT L6 bolt is a great upgrade but impossible to find. Everything I found said the L7 bolt was incompatible. But I just looked at the L7 on TechT’s website and they say it works on the eNMEy. Can anyone help clarify this for me. It has me pretty confused.

My mech Ions all seemed to follow the 10 shots per cu.in rule for 3k tanks... so you'll probably get 450ish off a 48cu.in tank.

Assuming you're using a 200rnd hopper and 140rnd pods, then no, you won't have enough air.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

L6 bolts are rare, but not impossible to find. But there are a ton of other options, it just needs 2 tail orings. Shocktech Superfly is another decent option

Didn’t know the 10 shots per CU rule. Definitely gonna remember that! Thanks for helping clear this up for me y’all.

Old "rule" that works for the less efficient stuff like Automags and older spool valve guns, like Ions... Emeks are a totally different story. 🙂

Right. 10 shots per cu at 3000psi. 15 shots per cu at 4500psi.

The L7 will "technically" work, it just doesn't shut off the dump chamber air and you'll blow a lot of air down the barrel.

No, you cannot use an L7 bolt. It'll *technically* work, but you'll vent air the whole time the trigger is pressed and your efficiency will tank.

Yes, slapping on a v2 body is that easy.

You could also look into modding an Ion body to work. Just need to Dremel open the front for the vertical adapter, and tap the inner body for a feed neck.

These are really fun guns. I have a v1 and v2. So feel free to ask me anything, and I can check it out for you.

I know it’s been almost 2 months lol but any recommendations aside from the Shocktech? I’m trying to squeeze as much efficiency as I can get out of this thing. Or aside from the L6 do you think the Shocktech is the best option? Thanks!

The ST is a good option because I found it to be more available. Most of the time when you find an L6, you have to buy a whole marker or a parts lot to get it. From an efficiency standpoint, gains are going to be minimal. If you find yourself running out of air to often, the best option is a bigger air tank.
