So I was given a bnib envy a while back with a leaky solenoid like they have. So for those in the know what are my options if I want to get this thing running? Is there somebody sitting on some parts for these or is somebody making a mech kit for them I can just dump the solenoid and get it running? I'd like to see if I can get it usable so I can let my kid play with it when he goes with me and because I seems like it'd be kind of a fun little project. Any help would be great.

I've heard of people modifying the solenoids from the Proto Rize to work. I believe SSC makes a mech kit for these also.

Look at the stickied topic "so you want to build a mech Ion." It's basically the same marker. Otherwise it's a gamble buying another board, which will potentially have the same problem.Comment
