Last one for the year, and done just (barely) in time for Christmas!

This one's heading out to Mr. Sethzilla, who requested something a bit special. The double-Fastback was tricky as hell to design and implement- and I piled way more hours than I could reasonably charge for into it- but I think it came out great.

(Mr. 'Zilla is getting everything but the grip frame and reg- I threw those on for testing, and to get a good pic.)

    Merry Christmas!

DIBS if Seth ever makes the massive mistake of selling that!

man that was worth the wait. Phew!

i agree 100%! Can't wait to get it into my dirty little hands

Hi guys, what's the secret for getting the valve in and out? Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but even without the o-rings on there the valve doesn't want to go in smoothly. With o-rings forget about it.
Did ano potentially add some thickness to the threaded area on mine?

Probably my issue. I had to trim down a valve for one of the others, I'd made it a few thou too big. I tend to make parts more close-fitting than most "production" stuff, and it's usually not an issue when I'm assembling the thing, since I can fit on the fly, so to speak.

Hate to throw a delay on your build, but if you send it back in, I'll turn it down slightly and adjust the O-ring grooves to match.

Hi Doc, appreciate the insight! I was starting to lose my mind haha.
I need a Mag barrel adapter anyways, so this works out. Sending you a PM.

As I told you gents earlier in this thread, these things are handmade, and as much as I like to think I'm pretty good at this, I still make my share of mistakes.

If something's wrong, I'll fix it. If something doesn't fit, I'll fit it or remake it.

        Doc.

Ok so after assembling this bad boy and shooting it in my shop i noticed something.....

.....It feels lighter than a standard Autococker!

And it is: 6.26 lbs not carrying paint.
A standard Cocker in my collection with the same hopper, reg, and tank came in at 6.60 lbs!

Pretty damn cool if you ask me 😃

Dual JoLo fit perfectly ❤️ it!

That's what you get when you mill off a third of the gun.

So? How's it shoot? I know when I tried it, here, with a matched pair of XL barrels, and some reasonably fresh paint, it was surprisingly "regulated". That is, the two shots landed reasonably close to each other. I had a blast shooting it- and the semi version as shown in my last video.

Throw some pneumatics (as God Himself intended) and a brace of Lapco barrels on the Vee Twin then get back to us with the weight.

God made the Sniper first, and then added pneumatics when Semi-auto took over the paintball world. This Double Fastback will never be an autococking paint thrower as long as i'm alive....
I have plenty of autocockers to fill that segment of my playing style.

I can make this one even lighter by adding a smaller reg, carbon fiber barrels, smaller hoppers, smaller tank, etc. What you see in my pics above is the setup i'll likely play with it most of the time.

As it was written, Bud Orr made the Sniper. God whispered "now make it a semi-auto."

Obviously, some iterative development was required on mankind's part.

Same kind of results so far - but my paint is suspect, as it sits in my shop and that gets colder than the house these days. It was going to make its field debut last weekend but the rain forecast had cancelled our big mech day locally.

I finally got mine all wrapped up. My employer says that "it's about the journey, not the destination". I'm going to politely disagree as this journey was at times tedious, but the destination is bonkers awesome. Here it is:

Thanks, guys! zinger565 Ano was done by FX. Without getting into the gory details publicly, I don't promote using FX

Someone needs to post all the photos from this journey in one thread and title it The Orgasm Roll and pin it to the top of the forum so I don't have to scroll so many pages for my beating material. These came out godly. Amazing anno's.

Such awesome well made guns from a living legend in ultra small custom paintball universe. This thread delivers.
