Got this Electric Sky Eclipse splash with a classic body, changed the body for a ULE (that I got not long ago from Magageddon), aluminium Diamond lab regulator and CP direct mount. Will soon change the frame for a gloss black single finger DYE frame.
Now now the hunt begin to find a matching barrel.
Alexndl I have tried a few times at building out an SC nelson that I liked. I think you even picked up my SNY commando attempt. This one is gonna stick around.
I'm still working out some kinks with print quality, and have some replacement parts for the Ender on the way. Once I'm happy with that, all of the parts are going to be printed in CF-PETG, at yours and ansons recommendations.
After 8 months of misfortune and delays I received my Mini Orracle back from anodizing. The body was first window milled by MozakMachine and then had it done polished black by Ruckus anodizing.
latches109 The body was a little rough to start and I didn't wipe off the finger prints and oil residue before snapping the photo. Ruckus did a solid ano job.
Ehhh... I understand your point fullofpaint, but I think the DLS is different. Everybody KNEW it was an experimental gun based on Lurker's valve design. So, when it was purchased, being a guinea pig should've been expected.
Not to mention, I remember everybody PRAISING Tom Kaye for upgrading Lvl5's to Lvl 7's free of charge and updating their warranty system. That's what made AGD stand out from the competition.
So now, when Dye does it, people still complain about it.
That said, I'm an outsider looking in. I don't own one, and probably never will. So take my opinion for what it's worth.
See there's where we would disagree haha. Nowhere in their marketing leading up to the gun did they call it experimental or indicate the UX would be less than that of any of their other guns. Teething issue are of course to be expected with any new design, but I don't think it's fair to expect users to be ok with such major issues that a whole new bolt kit is required.
And to be clear, I think it's great that they're doing it for free. Especially since Dye's play for years has been to release an updated bolt kit down the road for an extra fee. The fact that DAM's still don't come with the upgraded bolt ten years later is a joke. What I don't like and keeps me from buying any DYE guns in the future is their attitude that nothing was wrong with it, consumers are to blame, and we should be grateful that they're giving us this upgrade.
Fair enough. Like I said, I'm an outsider looking in. Dye look care of me and my team very well from 2006-2009, so maybe I'm biased. My current go-to electros are my 2007 Rail, and my 2013 Reflex Rail. So, I guess good luck with everything. Hopefully it all works out in the end.
The most recent "oopsie!" impulse buy + Infamous Cam Swap both just arrived. British Racing green CS2 Pro with matching mechanical frame. (matching electronic frame not pictured). I just had to have it...my favorite mechanical shooters aside from the Emek, and in what I think is one of the sexist colors ever.
