Just off the delivery truck from SGW - another cool Spyder. Haven’t shot one of the newer models with eyes so I’m excited to shoot it and also try out the Vmax platform.

Edit: turns out it isn’t the “plus+” version of the Vmax. Was kinda hard to tell without badges 🙃

The new Spyders are shorter than the older generations, yeah. They don’t look like much - I kinda miss the milling on the older models. What’s bigger is the trigger frame - DANG it’s chunky.

Yes, the trigger frame on these is big. There is a lot of adjustment on the magnetic triggers on these.

Gripes aside, this is an excellent shooter. It rips much faster than ye olde e-marker Spyder. scottieb agreed, the trigger is refreshingly adjustable.

I ended up milling mine. I couldn’t get the hang of pumping mine without pinching my balls. 🤔

So @Stockclass Heros actually modified the original print for better fitment and durability, and so CCM panels will fit properly. They are also printed in carbon filament, and he must have a really nice printer, because the print lines are tiny and clean. He's also working on custom printed panels for these.

I have an skr3 mini in a box I've had like 6 months. ZaDeer was amazing enough to gift it to me from us talking 3d printers. I've been scared to potentially brick my machine uf I install it wrong, so I haven't. Lmk how your install goes!

Inception reg and black screw kit came yesterday.

The good: Violent Series trigger came installed, powers on & cycles like a champ. Eyes are functional.

The bad: solenoid cap leaks. Doesn’t have the newer version of the cap, so MAYBE GoG will give me a new one. Not counting on it tho… may have to repair with a reflex rail cap.

The ugly: Peeling paint, missing some rubber on the shell, shell is cracked, braided hose is fraying, negative battery wire needs solder/heat shrink. At least I won’t get bored.

Anyone have a dead or used 2011 year or later Rail/Roze solenoid they wanna get rid of? I’d hate to butcher a new one just for the blue plastic cap.

Luckily all the ugly can be remedied easily. If the noid can’t be fixed, I’ll have fodder for a fun mech. The price was right so I couldn’t let it go.

Got this Kansas Killzone LV1 in. It's a little rough but it shoots lasers. Plan on getting some red or black grips for it and using my CRBN barrel. I'll probably be getting a pressure tester and doing my magic setup on it that makes it smooth as glass. Can't believe how cheap LV's are going for right now.
