What’s your favorite season to play in?

I find spring to be mud season, Summer can get to hot, winter to cold, but Fall Just right. I love the cooler temperatures paint breaks nicely you can layer up for protection with out dying of heat stroke. Fall is definitely my favorite time to play in the North East.

    What’s yours?

Hmmm I agree with the fall ball. I sweat so bad in the warmer weather so I fully embrace the cold. Side note: whatever weather us Ragnastock guys get to the field together is perfect weather for me.

Late fall and early spring are the best. Winter is good too if it's above -10°C.

Spring pring and fall for sure. Not winter at all. Sparingly in the summer. So basically between 50 and 80 degrees is ideal.

I've actually come to like winter paintball as of late, however Fall is by far my favourite.

Fall/Winter but will play anytime even in the 90s with high humidity in the Carolinas during the summer.

Fall. Nice cool crisp days are the best to play. No worry about overheating, no getting shot in cold hands. Too bad that’s the rainy season here. Early spring isn’t bad either.

Any day when the swamp ass index isn't off the charts is a good day for paintball.

That's like two weeks a year where I live, and they aren't even together.

Id say winter, but its gotta be the ideally perfect conditions.

35 degrees, no wind. Sunny, and like 6" of nice pow pow on the course. Of course it needs to be coniferous trees so you still have foliage.

We used to do an Easter opening game and we would sometimes get a 40F (4.5C) sunny day in 3' of snow. The biggest advantage was instant foxholes when you fell down.

Every year we play a Hoth themed game and playing in the snow is so much fun when the conditions are good. Last year we had hard pack with a 3” dusting on top and the slides for days were awesome. I legit baseball slid for like 15’ down a hill into a bunker way faster then I expected. Kind of ate shit but it looked great lol

Fall. Unfortunately all the outlaw fields are closed for hunting season, so we may be forced onto a crappy commercial field.

Ware about in Vermont? You should come out to Reeperball next weekend at OSG. It will be a private game full of likeminded individuals we will be playing a ton of paintball at the best fields in the North East you should come out. Me and the wife will be driving 4.5hrs to play there next weekend. Last year was epic there’s a Restaurant and bar on site for after the game it’s a dam good time. Worth the price of entry I guarantee it.

Almost the north west corner of VT, but I've been to OSG a few times before.

I didn't think there were any pump games after Stoctoberfest (which I missed) but I haven't paid attention to events in a while.

                      I'm confused though.

Mentions pump play Saturday at OSG and open private game at AG on Sunday.

OSG's website mentions nothing for Saturday, but has a stock class game on Sunday (actually seems to be stickfeed pump instead of true stock, which is what I play most of the time anyway)

                      Which site is right?

I tend to like spring the best, because all the regulars haven’t been playing and aren’t warmed up yet. So I, who only play a few times a year at this point, am on more even footing with them.

I like fall as well, since the woods fields open up a bit more. Easier to see people. But the reverse happens from what I said about spring; by this point in the season everyone’s really dialed in.
