I was making some RVAs and saw the stock sitting in a pile so I had to combine the two.

Still have to finish the sites, but sheโ€™s almost there! (Also debating if I keep her a muzzle loader or put her back under the knife.)

took way too long, but itโ€™s finally done!! Cut my FSR breach, drilled a โ€œdummyโ€ hole and made up some โ€œironโ€ sights.

Not sure whom did the original work, so I put in here. My buddies "single shot" double barrel. He bought this from someone whom frequents the forums. He never used it as it needed a little work. It didnt have a bolt handle, the stock was too long to use a fast change or CA, and the stock had a series of burns in it from a torch. The burns were right into the lacquer. You can still see hints of the burns in the picture. He was fixing on my stroker, so I decided to do him a solid, and messed with this for him. Fashioned a bolt handle out of a clevis pin for now. I then cut the stock down, sanded it out, and restained it with a black/ poly mix.

We would put a fast change on it, but he snapped the tap off in the fast change cap so we can't make it long enough. That being said, it'll work on CA for the time being.

I could get 20 spaced shots over 225, if I remember right, from the red one. I never used 12-gram on the CA one.

            Build, buy or commission.

There are a handful of how-to threads floating around. Itโ€™s really not as bad as youโ€™d thinkโ€ฆ.but it is a little intimidating when you first torch a PGP apart. It took me a while to muster up the fortitude to do it the first time. The rest comes down to patience and creativity (and lots of sandpaper and brass). Most of us use basic tools (pipe cutter, torch, sandpaper, hand drill (as a drill and as a โ€œlatheโ€) and a dremmel.

You could always post up in the BST thread that youโ€™re looking for something specific. MCB-ers areโ€ฆ.eccentric, so if you want one, this is definitely the place to buy one!

You could also commission a build. There are a few members who build brassy wonders. Everyone has various specific talents, and various skill levels. A lot of it comes down to what youโ€™re looking to get.

I donโ€™t know of anyone who is currently doing custom wood stocks, but Iโ€™m sure there is someone.

            Good luck!!

I might have had ulterior motivesโ€ฆ.he kicked my butt in our single shot game with his phantomโ€ฆ.I wanted to even the playing field ๐Ÿ˜‰

Seriously though, Iโ€™m stoked that he likes it! Should be a fun shooter for him

Loophole I really like it, it shoots straight (even though I suck with it for now). I was able to shoot Chuck E Ducky in the bum with it, but ChuckLove had to sacrifice himself.
