So, I feel its time for an update. Its honestly been far too long since I've had time to dedicate to shop work. Its been a busy summer. Between helping out my mother in law with her rental property that was left in shambles, and it seems like every other week I have a car breaking down, my home repairs, and just working a lot, my schedule has been hectic to say the least. I haven't forgot about anyone who has sent me markers, or even PMs inquiring about work and trinkets. I've simply been too busy this summer to keep up. But don't worry, I'll be making shop time happen soon, and I want to keep this alive for as long as I can. Thanks for all the support and patience. I have some really cool projects lined up that I can't wait to share.
I've had to address some teething issues with this- the magazine needed a much stronger follower spring and I had to replace the guts with a Palmer's dynavalve, but I was finally able to put this thing through its paces last weekend.
I'm toying with the idea of rigging up a bottomline mount to attach a stock, since it doesn't look like Walz or anyone else is currently making mask-friendly drop stocks for Sheridans right now.
Well I'm glad you got it sorted out. I'll have to source better springs for the next one. Springs feeds are a fine balance between feeding right, and dimpling the paintballs if its too strong. Its much tougher to find said balance with the KP style feed, as they have to go up and in.
I feel like I need a new piercing pin, too. Mine uses Phantom-style pins and is getting dull. Wish there was a place to get replacements without paying so much for them.
I shouldn't have laughed so hard at this joke, but something about the piston being the groom and the valve being the bride really tickled me. Anatomically correct anthropomorphizing for the win.
