Looks good. Your last build was killer especially the dual five round feed with the quick feed to top it off! I have a quick question, I have a pmi that needs a front nutsert replaced. But I only have the flush mount type. The original one sticks up above the surface which I thought was to help locate the frame and keep it from moving when you are pumping the marker. Would you know what the original type is called or recommend one that you use. Thanks

Trying to do something to distract myself. I've been having back pain for 2 days now, so I am behind on sending out orders. Sorry for the delay.
Anyway, I made a detent for the brass Sterling. I also stripped the body again. Now I'm making it a brass Sterling VSC. I'll probably go with a brass hardline. I'm going to chop up a rear ASA, and drill and tap a new fitting on the side of it for a cleaner hard line. Then I still need to tune it, and maybe I'll use it at Slims.

Its like my Fast Feed Lite, the wire detent moves when the tube is inserted. On this build, I was able to hide that detent in the middle. It took me a few tries to get the geomerty right, but it works great now.

gGot it, teh detent is to prevent balls coming out the back, not from traveling in between the tubes 😅

A nice 2k, made user friendly with light mods. Detents, a bolt pusher, and easier valve disassembly.

Is the white sphere coming out of the bolt the "bolt pusher"?

Yes it was hard to photograph, but its a nylon 6-32 screw

I managed to sneak into the shop for a few hours pre turkey. I shortened this lower tube 3" and re-tapped the threads. More mods later. Happy Thanksgiving!

I cut a spring feed slot and a window that will be hidden under the stock, for popping out stuck cartridges. I got the spring feed parts from Alexndl. Now to add the detent.

I like the pre planing,when you build a center feed tube do you attach it to both upper and lower tube or just one.

This one's the stock feed tube, I just adapted it for spring feed. Its stuck to the barrel and lower tubes. I have done 90* feeds in the past, only stuck to the side of the barrel.
