Also still working on Jordan's single shot, but I don't want to show that until I get it just a little farther along, as I can't explain it, I'll just have to show you how it's gonna work.

So with this Break Action build, I had to get creative. This one's a PGP 2K base, so it has the quick change. Pretty much every break action I've seen utilized a lever CO2 changer, and made that the pivot point. So I'm making the pivot point with my little side tubes.

Attempted a snake skin patina. This isn't quite it, but still looks crazy. What do you think Alexndl?

Can't wait to try this sleeper PGP this weekend, I love the patina!
Was wondering how it would look assembled with the top tube not having the same finish, but the contrast make it look super cool.

I hope this helps explain the pivot on Jordan's build. Just gotta add a pin, and file the tubes down until it opens just right. I might add some kind of spring assist so it pops open when the bolt is pulled

Oh I like! Are there issues with that getting in the way of the changer knob on the lower tube?

No issues at all. That's why I put the pivot that far forward

Excellent shooters there,like the variety. When doing a freak insert, does the lug on the bolt need any modification so it will still reach the hammer, because of the additional height?

Sometimes. If it's an old an worn down lug, sometimes it will skip over the hammer. If it's a screwed in lug, I just back it out a little. If it's the spring style lug, I remove the spring and make it rigid, as I always cut the quick strip

Well I wasn't going to have enough meat to add my pin, so I added these tabs. Just need to drill for the pin and clean this all up
