Sheridan front sight thread size

Just wanted to see if anyone knew the specs for the front feed plug/brass sight post threads. I'm fixing to make a replacement one out of brass and would like to keep things consistent.

Man. Long ago, I bought a mossberg fiber sight post that fit in my p68, then it fell out mid game.

I WANT to say its a 5-40 thread.

All the ones I've reinstalled were 6-32... which doesn't mean they're all that thread, just the ones I've used.

I usually see smaller ones, but often delete the sight and use a 6-32 grub screw

I think they are 4-40... Not fun to turn on a lathe it's a tiny thread
