| A full standalone version of XP Home will not work...you need the full O.E.M. version to work with the keys that came with the computer originally (the sticker on the side). That's the thing about keys, the version of XP has to be the exact one. The only thing it doesn't care about is if it's SP2 or not...a 5 year old O.E.M. key will still work with a new SP2 O.E.M. install.
