I agree with this.
I think the regulars on here pretty much know who the regular dealers are and what sort of stuff they carry. Unfortunately the dealer's section does get (what I would consider) spammed with a lot of 1-offs or people who come on here to do one bulk store liquidation or whathaveyou then disappear.
If the target market is the forum regulars...they probably already know. If it's the random bluenames looking for something, a webstore is probably easier to manage and get Google results for, etc.
